Get Ready For A Quick Burst of Winter

A strong cold front will plow through the state on Friday Night and Saturday and as it does so, several hours of rain and possibly even heavy rain will be possible on Friday Afternoon and Evening. Strong dynamics with the system could lead to a few rumbles of thunder.

As the cold front moves across the state, winds will become quite brisk and areas across Northern and Northwestern will begin to see the rain mix with snow as colder air infiltrates the region. The entire area will begin to see light snow showers by Saturday Afternoon and Evening.

A very cold airmass will remain in place through the early part of next week!
